I’m married!!
I should have titled this post, “He will give you MORE then you could ever ASK, dream, hope or imagine… and I have a HUGE imagination!!!
There are so many amazing moments, but here is just a small summary of an amazing season.
TUESDAY – Headed to the Beach
WEDNESDAY-Marriage license and PLAY
THURSDAY-Play and Bachlorette PaRtY with 30 ladies!!! The night started with a lingere party, dinner outside at a fabulous restaurant then back to the condo for karaoke and a SHOW! When you look at the pics and see 3 ladies in white they definitely proved their love to me!! Kari taught us how to dance and Emily M. found a new love for karaoke! There was definitely talent in the room that night. I had sisters, cousins, friends from middle school, college and every season of life with me and it was beautiful and special. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!
FRIDAY-Bridesmaids Breakfast then headed to the Spa for a little R & R before the rehearsal and dinner.
SATURDAY-Relaxed then Natalie and I went out into the gulf with a bottle and told Mom and Dad Spera how much we loved them. We each tossed it as far as we could but after 2 waves it was back on shore, so the spontaneous, fun, loving, beautiful girl that she is took her sweater off and went in….like waist deep in. That is my girl!!
All day was BEAUTIFUL, peaceful and relaxing. Kaycee Smith is a 5 star at HPC but she made us look 5 star. The photographers, videographers then eventually the trolley arrived to pick us up and bring us to the beach to meet my night and shining armor. People said that I couldn’t have asked for better weather and I responded, “I did ask….oh, we talked about it.”
Ps. Mike Haman did an amazing job with the ceremony and the reception was MAGICAL!! Dancing, lAuGhiNg, fireworks, charicature artist, good food but the people were by far the best!! I can’t wait to show you more pics. Below is a slide show of pics from fabulous friends!
I asked my 4 year old Godchild for marriage advice and this is how the conversation went…
Angel: Will, what am I suppose to do now that I’m married?
Will: Well, mommy and daddy have important conversations, and mommy goes to football and baseball games with daddy.
Angel: What do they talk about?
Will: (pause) Mom, what do you and dad talk about? (returned) They talk about relationships and family.
Angel: Do they hold hands?
Will: When they cross the street they do. We all do!
A few weeks prior his mom sat him down and told him about the wedding and explained everything from husband and wife to having kids. He thought about it and said seriously, “Mom, they are going to have kids and there is nothing we can do about it.” Mom replied, “Yes, you are correct. There is nothing we can do about it.”
I have the BEST family & friends this girl could ever dream for….but I did ask Him…obviously he said “Yes”
